The opening of the salon studios will mark yet another step towards reviving the East End Centre to a bustling shopping destination in Wilkes Barre Twp. Allure Salon Group occupies 4,840 square feet, next door to Happy Nails, just 2 doors away from Edible Arrangements.
About Allure Salon Group. Allure Salon Group LLC is locally owned and operated by Karen Kaminski. Though this is the first salon suite business of its kind to open in this area, the concept of combined suites in one location, is extremely popular throughout the United States. Similar facilities have opened in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, and now Allure is bringing the opportunity to the beauty professionals of the Wilkes Barre area. This studio salon suite location will empower the hair stylist, aesthetician, make up artist and massage therapist to take control of their future and their careers, providing the ability to become a salon owner seamlessly and inexpensively. These are NOT booth rentals. Each salon has been required to meet the minimum size requirements set by the PA State Board of Cosmetology. Each salon owner will be required to obtain a salon license and be inspected by the PA Cosmetology Board – a process that will take a minimum of 4 weeks.
Each salon is turnkey ready, equipped with all new custom cabinetry, styling station, chairs and shampoo bowls. The facility offers state of the art amenities including on demand hot water, motion and heat detector electrical and lighting, professional LED lighting throughout for consistent saturation, swipe card security access, privacy insulated walls and 24 hour security camera surveillance.
Each studio salon business is operated by the salon owner. All money transactions, pricing, products and hours of operation are at the discretion of the salon owner, with restricted hours set by Allure Salon Group from 9pm until 6am. Each salon can be personalized to suit the owners taste.
Allure also features a professional classroom for educational events for the seasoned professional or for the newbie just launching their professional career. Beauty professionals can attend events featuring local guest artists as well as industry favorites from around the country. The schedule will include both lecture format and hands-on classes. This will allow local professionals to keep up on the latest industry trends or sharpen their skills with the convenience of being in a local location.
Allure Salon Group is now taking appointments to view the 14 studio salons – 11 single suites and 3 double suites. Private appointments are available.
